Dr. Kelly Hong with Patient
Life is full of reasons to smile, and when you smile, it just makes everything better. The simple act of smiling helps to lift your spirits and give those around you some reassurance. However, when you prevent yourself from smiling because of an embarrassing dental problem, life doesn’t seem too grand. We believe that no one should have to live life this way, which is why Kelly Smile Dentistry is here to help in any way we can.

What Will Happen During Your First Visit

No one should ever have to feel embarrassed about going to see a dentist. That is why we do everything we can to make sure all of our patients are as comfortable as possible. Our staff members are not only highly skilled and trained, but they are also compassionate and understanding.

When you first arrive at our office, we will have you fill out some paperwork to get a better idea of who you are, as well as request permission to obtain your medical information. This will include information that your previous dentist has on record, including x-rays and treatment history.

The next step is to perform our oral examination. This will allow us to see how your oral health has progressed and detect any dental issues that require our immediate attention. This may include taking our x-rays or dental scans to get a better idea of what exactly is going on.

After the examination is complete, we will discuss our findings with you and inquire about any habits that might pertain to anything we’ve found. If we’ve found nothing to be concerned about, we will likely either perform a cleaning or schedule you to return for cleaning. If there is something noteworthy that needs to be addressed, we will discuss treatment options at this time.

Getting Treatment

Getting the treatment, you need when it comes to your oral health has never been easier. Our office can handle a vast majority of dental concerns. We do everything from cosmetic dentistry and general dentistry to restorative dentistry.

Cosmetic dentistry encompasses treatments such as teeth whitening, placing veneers for cracked, chipped or damaged teeth and replacing outdated metal braces and brackets with newer, less noticeable (or clear) brackets and wires for those with braces. Just because you need to have an oral procedure done, doesn’t mean that it should be blatantly obvious that you had it done.

Restorative dentistry, on the other hand, is all about dental implants, individualized full mouth reconstruction, and treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder.

Procedures in general dentistry include cleanings, general exams, oral cancer screenings, crowns, fillings, and bridges.

No matter what kind of dental situation you might be facing, you can rest easy knowing that we have not only the skills and the know how to correct the problems. We also the tools to make these treatments as effective and comfortable as possible.

As anyone in a skilled profession will tell you, the quality of the equipment you use plays a vital role in the outcome of any situation. We believe that there is a right tool for every job and that to provide the best possible care to all of our patients, we make sure we stay on top of all of the newest technology, equipment, and practices.
